Blue Ridge Classic May 14-15, 2011

We are excited to announce the 2011 Blue Ridge Classic!

Saturday May 14 will be the Reynolds Blue Ridge Criteriums Benefiting the Mountain Alliance. Held at the new Watauga High School in Boone, this will be a very fun, unique course that is extremely spectator friendly.

Sunday, May 15 will be the Blue Ridge Ascent, at Reynolds Blue Ridge in Blowing Rock, NC. The hardest Hill Climb in the Southeast is a 9.25 mile course climbing 3,300 feet with an average 7.5% grade, on the buttery smooth pavement of Reynolds Road.

BIG changes are afoot for this year’s event. Expect an announcement by March 1.

Don’t forget that the NWS Cycling Series resumes Wednesday April 6 and Boone Roubaix, The Hell of the High Country, takes place Saturday, April 23.
