Beech Mountain Hill Climb Time Trial

Registration will open at 4:30PM and close at 6:30PM

Individuals who register on site will start in the order they sign up beginning at 6:50PM.

Racers will start at 30 second intervals. Your time begins at your assigned start time. Given limited daylight, we will only allow racers who miss their start time to start after the last rider on a case-by-case basis (e.g. you hit a deer on your way to the race).

There will be a bank of 10 spin bikes (spd/toe cage pedals) set up near the start, so that racers “on deck” can continue to warm up until their start time.

The Town of Beech Mountain will be running a shuttle from 5:30PM to 9:00PM between the start at the Buckeye Recreation Center and the finish at Beech Mountain Town Hall. It will leave the start at the bottom of the hour and leave the finish at the top of the hour.

The award ceremony and presentation of the Capo Leaders Jerseys for every class will take place at registration at 8:00PM, or as soon as the last registered racer in your category finishes. Winners must be present in the ceremony in order to collect their award.

The afternoon classes award ceremony will take place at the finish line at 4:30PM, or thirty minutes following the 10th place finish of the last afternoon category, whichever comes last. Winners must be present in the ceremony in order to collect their award.

The award ceremony for the crit and omnium and final presentation of the Capo Leaders Jerseys will take place five minutes after the start of the following category. Winners must be present in the ceremony in order to collect their award.
